Discover the dark history of the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp, a model and training camp, which was initially used by Nazis to perfect the most efficient and effective execution methods for use in death camps. Explore the memorial site and educational exhibitions with an Expert Guide to learn about the causes and consequences of the Nazi extremism.

Your 4-hour fully-guided tour will begin with a pickup from your accommodation in Berlin. We will arrange a private driver and a clean, air-conditioned vehicle exclusively for your group so you can avoid crowded commercial buses.Upon arrival at the Memorial and Museum Sachsenhausen, you will join a Licensed Guide on a private tour of the former concentration camp, including the Command Headquarters, prisoners’ barracks, and the site of the first crematorium. It will be an educational yet touching experience, as you will also see the Mass Graved for Concentration Camp Victims, burial grounds and several memorials.

The museum displays several exhibits on the camp’s operations under the Nazis and Soviets, exposing the way they tortured and executed their prisoners of war. Among the inmates you will find names of political prisoners such as Joseph Stalin’s oldest son, the penultimate PM of of France, the family of the Crown Prince of Bavaria, as well as Jehovah’s Witnesses, Soviet POWs, Poles, Jews, Homosexuals and Freemasons.
