Kursalon Vienna
Kursalon is one of the most famous concert halls in Vienna and was constructed in a renaissance style between 1865 and 1867, by the emperor Franz Josef I. Johann Strauss gave his very first concert here in 1868 and since then the hall has been used to host concerts. Today, more than 200,000 people enjoy musical concerts here, every year.

The grand palace of Auersperg is the place where Mozart used to perform some of his notable works. Today, the palace is home of the Vienna Residence Orchestra, one of the finest chamber orchestras. The Vienna Residence Orchestra has a long tradition and was founded by pianist and conductor Paul Moser and his wife Sylvia Moser, in order to present the Viennese classics in full. In recent decades they have presented numerous concert series in Vienna’s most beautiful palaces. They play pieces from Mozart to Johann Strauss with between 10 and 40 musicians. At the concert, listen to the world-famous music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Johann Strauss accompanied by professional opera singers and ballet dancers.
