Activity details
Book a 2-hour Jewish walking tour to discover the traces of Jewish history and heritage in Stockholm. In the heart of Gamla Stan (Old Town) you’ll find Stockholm’s oldest surviving synagogue, which now houses the Jewish Museum. You'll also see the German Church and Storkyrkan (Cathedral), where the first Jewish families were baptized after arriving in Sweden in the 17th century.
Outside the nearby Nobel Prize Museum, your Private Guide will tell you the Jewish laureates who received this prestigious award over the years. You will pass the Royal Palace and head to Berzelii Park, which features the Rememberene Path and the Holocaust monument dedicated to Raoul Wallenberg, who saved tens of thousands of Jewish people from the Holocaust. Don't miss out on this important but little-known history of Stockholm!
Book a 3-hour Jewish walking tour to visit the Jewish Museum. The museum is hosted in the buildings of the first Synagogue in Stockholm, making it an important historical landmark. Inside, you will have a chance to learn in more detail about the first Jews who came to Sweden and what efforts it took the community to build the first Jewish temple in the capital. You'll also learn about Jewish culture and traditions. Your Expert-Guide will offer you expert commentary on the exhibits and answer any questions you may have.
Choose the 4-hour option to book a 3-hour Jewish walking tour with entry to the Jewish Museum with 1-hour private car transfers.
